User Profile

Well, basically I'm not new to the whole fanfic thing. I've written quite alot, posted elsewhere, but I'm new to live journal. What I'm here for is to be a beta, basically. I enjoy being a beta and- though I don't like to blow my own horn, I'm a pretty good one.
If anyone has an up and coming story they'd like me to take a look at, I'd me more than happy.
I live in a small city, and I'm essentially not a city person. I'm currently in highschool, and soon (about two weeks) my family and I are travelling around the world. I am almost too excited to talk, but it's still a while away.
I really like writing, I always have- I have many, many favourite authors. I love the classics- Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte (but not Charles Dickens, I tried to read that and I just got depressed.) Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky etc, but I also love the new amazing literature- like Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. I'm always ready to talk about books, but unfortunatly (just as I enter the seemingly endless world of livejournal) my online live is going to be farily sporadic- we are taking a laptop travelling, but time is hard in India etc.
Wow, I really can't shut up about it, can I?
